King's Lighthouse #5: Hidden Garden Oasis

bed was not soft floor was dirty water outage for 2 days , no one is responding back to my refund that they promised me!! never coming back here 0 recommend!!

The room itself was reasonable for the price with two exceptions. The location is great and close to shops, however it's in the oldest part of twon that predates automobiles and the road are only slightly wider than a car and there are steep hills for two of the three access directions. Parking is non-existant, although there is parking on a couple streets a couple blocks away there is no parking on the street it is on. The parking that is available was completely parked in every time we checked, so we had to walk about six or seven blocks. The other problem was the room had such a strong mildew smell we ended up having to rent a room at another hotel at a steep price for same day availability. It appeared the mildew was coming from the air conditioner that is a portable unit that is vented to an adjacent window. that appears to have allowed water from recent rains to get into the portable air conditioner. That just an opinion, but it could be fixed with a cover over the opening to the vent tube outside if it is the problem. In any case we were unable to stay there for fear of waking up ill on vacation. Hopefully it is resolved by now.

Absolutely perfect …. Central to everything.

Air conditioning leaked, overhead lights didnt work. Location hard to get to. Hard to find.
